Responsible Gambling in Alberta
8.1 Understanding Gambling Risks
Gambling involves real financial risk, and outcomes in casino and bingo games are determined by chance. 8.2 Minimum Age
You must be at least 18 years of age to register for or use Delta Casino. Age verification is performed as part of the identity verification process, and accounts belonging to anyone found to be under 18 will be closed and any relevant funds handled according to our Terms and Conditions.
8.3 Recognizing Problem Gambling
Signs of problem gambling can include spending more time or money gambling than intended, gambling to escape stress, chasing losses, hiding gambling activity from others, or experiencing financial, relationship, or work difficulties connected to gambling. 8.4 Deposit Limits
You can set a deposit limit within your account settings to cap how much you add to your account over a given period. Once set, a deposit limit can only be lowered immediately; increasing it typically requires a waiting or cooling-off period consistent with AGLC requirements.
8.5 Loss Limits
Loss limits allow you to set a maximum amount you are willing to lose over a chosen period. Once your loss limit is reached, you will be prevented from continuing to play with real money until the limit period resets.
8.6 Time Limits
Time limits let you control how long you spend playing in a single session or over a given period. When a time limit is reached, you will receive a notification and, if applicable, be logged out of real-money play.
8.7 Gaming Breaks
If you want to step away from gambling for a set period without fully closing your account, you can request a temporary gaming break through your account settings. During a break, access to real-money play is suspended for the chosen duration.
8.8 Self-Exclusion
If you need a longer pause from gambling, you can register with AGLC's centralized self-exclusion program from your account. Registration locks your Delta Casino account. The program applies across registered Alberta iGaming operators.
8.9 Account Restrictions
Delta Casino may apply account restrictions — including temporary suspensions or permanent closures — where required by law, by AGLC's regulatory requirements, or to protect a player who shows signs of harmful gambling behaviour, in addition to any limits a player sets voluntarily.
